My childhood was about chasing butterflies and climbing trees and play-acting. I‘m a little more grounded now, living in a downtown of buildings and automobiles, and trees. I appreciate the diversity around me, the urban and the natural and what I find in between. In my photos, I’m less interested in a verifiable documentary record. I look for where the subject and mood intersect. I like images that speak about the feeling of the moment and perhaps entice us to imagine.

 

Unique photographs can stop our breath with a message from what is around us every day. Awesome visions can momentarily connect us. I’ve taken pictures all of my life. My pictures often wrestle to find their way, but I continue to follow the magic and to share what I find.
